Importance of Teamwork
The benefits of working in teams are learning to trust, to take decisions and risks, discovering innate leadership qualities, and cooperating to bring out the best in you.
This helps children cooperate in order to develop their personal skills and gain knowledge.
Teamwork is taught to a child because the quality or rather ability of working in a team is one of the most vital soft skills required in professional life.
In addition, one can consider a support group such as the t.v. show, The Biggest Loser. Every time I watch that show, I wish I could trade places with the trainers that are in charge of everything. Teamwork is crucial with this show because the trainers have to constantly motivate the contestants. This is one of the coolest ways that I have ever seen teamwork been performed; it is one thing for a team to work together to win a game in one particular game in one season, but this is much bigger. By working together with the contestants, the trainers can help these individuals change their entire lives. Just losing a little bit of weight can be accomplished by practically anyone, but not everyone can acquire the motivated mindset that is required to change their entire life. While a lot of people may have a life goal of losing a considerable amount of weight for various reasons, it is my life goal to help make that possible for someone. I want to be the driving force behind what makes someone want to try their hardest and change their life for the better.
It may or may not be clear of how I feel about teamwork at this point, but to sum it up, I feel that teamwork is one of the greatest things there is because it allows incredible tasks to be completed with a little help from others. Teamwork can be used practically anywhere including sports and even in popular t.v. shows. It is amazing to see people change their lives because they were able to succeed with some help from friends and family.

One of the enduring lessons that I have learnt during teamwork is, how to deal with conflict/differences among team members. In teamwork, quite often I have come across key issues/problems which are viewed from different perspective by team members. Understanding/acknowledging the differences, discussing alternative solutions and their consequences, collaboratively finding the best solution is the ideal way to deal with conflict.

I believe in certain things in this life, but there are only a few things that I truly hold myself to. One of these things is teamwork. Teamwork is such a wonderful thing because it allows for one person to accomplish something that would have otherwise have been completely impossible. Teamwork is existent all the time, everyday in fact, without even realizing it. Teamwork can be used for a greater good in sports and in support groups, among other things. Of course, there are millions of other ways that teamwork is demonstrated, but I will expand on these particular topics.
Take the obvious example of sports. If all of the players on a volleyball court do not properly communicate with each other, then the play will quickly fall apart and the point will be lost. One of the best displays of teamwork in a volleyball match that I have ever seen is when my team played against a deaf school. To communicate with one another, they relied primarily on eye contact and by signing quickly. I used to say that the deaf players had a disadvantage, but now I see that that is not true. I believe they show true teamwork during all of their games.
Most modern businesses are structured around teams. Even those with highly individualized jobs like graphic design and publishing need active co-operation among various members of the organization for a final product to emerge. It is critical then for every member of the organization to understand the concept of teamwork and to consider his or her job as part of a team effort.
For example, if I wanted to write about Social Networking sites, I'd need to write different thesis statements depending on my compare/contrast assignment.
