Students from rival institution are easily identifiable because of their uniforms while they are on the way to school or returning home, resulting into bullying or terrible fights between two school groups.
I hope these points will help you answer the question (especially if it is posed by one of your kids): are school uniforms good or bad?
In short, we are easy to distract, and very bad at doing two or more things at the same time. Yet our computers, supposedly our servants, constantly distract us and ask us to process multiple streams of information at the same time. It can make you wonder, Just who is in charge here?
1. The first stage in writing is producing ideas. It’s important to dedicate two or three minutes to carefully planning what you are going to say. Make a list of the points for and against. Remember that the key to writing a good balanced essay is to include as many arguments you disagree with as those you agree with. They should be noted impartially although in your conclusion you can say why you find one side more convincing than the other.
i think its a good idea because the computer will be more accurate and more trustfull i would rather have a computer grade my papers because a teacher can be mad at u and change some of ur answers around and make u get a bad grade thats why i think ut is better for a computer to grade ur paper than a teacher
I will certainly be not comfortable with the fact that computer is going to check my exam because it is a technology and it could make a mistake. We can trust computer but not always. It might grade us fairly but there isn’t any guarantee, but teacher will be more focused on our overall mistakes and will tell us our weaknesses. Computer won’t give us an effective feedback on how to improve our essay. Off course, we care that teacher checks our essay rather than a computer. Getting a grade instantly would be ok because whatever you do in an exam, eventually you get to know it and people don’t have practice to wait until teacher gives their exams back, so I think this will be the only positive point that you will know your mistake and try to get over it.
While the brain is good at many things, it is rather bad at others. It’s not very good at achieving extreme states of concentration through sustained attention. It takes great training and effort to maintain attention on one object—in what Buddhists call concentration meditation—because the brain is highly susceptible to both voluntary and involuntary demands on its attention. Second, the brain is not good at conscious multitasking, or trying to pay active attention to more than one thing at once. Perhaps computer designers once hoped that our machines could train the brain to multitask more effectively, but that this effort has failed.
I wouldn’t like there’s nothing better that teacher grade us, because he can explain us why is incorrect and can guide us to do it better. I will be confused the computer can give us the grade and mistakes but not the method to do it better so people become lazy and want the computer correct everything. Yes I would like that my teacher read my teacher he will give me the best methods to do it better and I can impress him. I will feel bad there’s nothing to feel anxious when the teacher gives us a grade and also we can see the face that he puts when something is wrong or good.
I don’t think a computer could evaluate my essays as a human being would do it. One of the thousands of reasons why is because as much as technology is advanced, computers can’t realize certain ideas as human’s brains do. I think students would be under a very psychological pressure. I think students who don’t speak English very well (like me) would waste more time thinking about writing without mistakes than writing down information to pursue the reader. It is not a good idea!
I would think that is not possible that a computer grading our essays because really sometime the computer isn’t intelligent like the people resume. That isn’t a human and it will not take a good deduction. I’d like that my teacher always reads my essays, but if an exam is multiple-choice or true-false, I trust that the computer really can do it.
What would happen if the person that sends in the essay was special ed or has any other mental difference. If this system were to go world wide, there would only be one thing that teachers could teach. Everybody in the world would have to learn the same thing at the same time. There would be no such thing as educational differentiation. Every essay would have to then be graded on the same things. A teacher could no longer look at the class they are teaching and decide what strengths the class needs to learn. If a student or class did not get a subject, the teacher would have to keep going in the program, instead of staying on that subject. This essay grader is a really bad idea.
The new technology is more and more important in the actual society and it’s very helpful. The software founded by Harvard and the Massachusetts Institute of Technologies is a proof of the scientific labor but not in the human relations. If you consider that a computer is able to judge a student work, so a human work, you consider that this work come down to a product, a software. It depends also the sort of work because if you have to give an answer like yes or no, the computer should graduate the essay. But I think it’s a very little part of the teacher work which, generally, is more focused on the critical works to develop the student mind. It’s obvious a computer is not be able to judge the qualities of the ideas, of the dissertation. What’s more, the intelligence artificial that I think is superficial like its name, is not be able to give a feedback in order to help the student. Can you imagine a relation y an interesting exchange computer/student? Can you imagine a binary society that should work with 0 and 1? We have to protect the human relations because the acknowledgment is not just in fact is also an experience.
It’s time to create more tools that help us with what our brains are bad at, such as staying on task. They should help us achieve states of extreme concentration and focus, not aid in distraction. We need a new generation of technologies that function more like Kerouac’s scroll or Kafka’s typewriter.
